Proclamations & Resolutions Honoring Black History

Although the national theme for Black History Month is "African Americans and the Arts" our Government Relations Committee felt that the Santa Barbara County theme should be "Black History: More Than A Month." The committee has created a 2024 Black History Month Resolution/Proclamation to be used to honor our late regional Elders and community organizations that provide services to our community year-round. Please join us in your city/area to be recognized (we will update as dates are confirmed).
