From October 5th through 8th, we are elevating @sbprideandjoy and their all-new LGBTQ+ event on the Central Coast. It's all about JOY in the 805's first "popup gayborhood" as we take over Downtown Santa Barbara with arts & culture, community healing, intergenerational dialogue, and celebration for the entire weekend. Journey with us and the rest of the Central Coast as we help create more safe spaces, a more inclusive community, and more joy for LGBTQ+ people throughout the year with SB Pride & Joy. While this is an event focused on uplifting Black & Brown people in the LGBTQ+ community, Pride & Joy welcomes the participation and support of allies regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and so on — this is how a healthy community is built.
