RESISTIR PARA EXISTIR: Black LGBT Art and Activism in the Americas is a 2-day symposium at the Multicultural Center organized by Black Studies, Feminist Studies, the Journal of Haitian Studies, and Feminist Futures. The multilingual event features visual art, poetry, performance art, film, and live music by activists, artists, and academics from Trinidad, Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba, Brazil, and Colombia.
