DJ Tim Stone

Tim Stone is a Vaquero football assistant coach that focuses on the secondary.

He started playing tackle football at the early age of 7 in Dallas, Texas. He became a two-year starter at cornerback for the Interlake High Saints in Bellevue, Washington.

Tim also played cornerback for the College of San Mateo Bulldogs under Coach Tom Martinez. He then transferred to the UCSB Gauchos, playing cornerback and returning punts on their last two teams before the program was dropped in 1992. He received the Most Improved Player award his senior year at UCSB, despite the secondary coaches resigning halfway through the season. Being the only senior member of the secondary, Tim led the defensive back drills in practices and games.

Coach Stone previously coached the secondary and receivers for the sophomore team at Dos Pueblos High in 1996. When his not coaching, he is laying down tracks and jams for everyone to enjoy. Listen to DJ Tim Stone’s Juneteenth Mixes.
